Safeguarding and working with young people and minors

Healing Sun Talks Limited does not work with anyone under sixteen without verified parental or guardian consent. A parent must be present for all sessions with anyone under sixteen. Healing Sun Talks Limited may decline to work with minors if safeguarding conditions are unclear. If any risk of harm to a young person is disclosed, confidentiality may be broken in line with safeguarding law.

 

Healing Sun Talks Limited may work with young people aged sixteen and above at the discretion of the counsellor. Parental awareness may be requested but is not legally required. Healing Sun Talks Limited will decide whether the work is suitable based on ethical and professional judgement.

 

All responsibility for a child present during any session lies fully with the parent or guardian. Healing Sun Talks Limited accepts no liability for emotional impact, behaviours, or wellbeing of any child present in any session.

 

Children in counselling and sound therapy

Healing Sun Talks Limited prefers that children are not present during counselling because sensitive or emotional content may arise. If a baby must be present due to lack of childcare this may be accepted. For sound therapy the parent may choose to have a child present, but the purpose of the session must be respected. All responsibility for the child remains fully with the parent.

 

No filming and no recording

Clients must not film, audio record, video record, screen record, or allow any other person to record any part of any session. No third parties may observe sessions unless agreed in advance. Any form of recording without permission is a legal breach and may lead to legal action.

 

Healing Sun Talks Limited will never record or film sessions.

 

Insurance and global clients

Healing Sun Talks Limited is insured within the united kingdom to work with clients worldwide. Clients from any location may book sessions. Healing Sun Talks Limited accepts no responsibility for the choices, actions, behaviour, or wellbeing of clients inside or outside sessions.

 

Nature of services

Counselling sessions offer reflective conversation, emotional support, and professional guidance. Sound therapy sessions may include nature sounds and hertz frequencies to support relaxation. These practices do not diagnose or replace medical treatment. Clients must continue to seek appropriate medical care where needed.

 

Sound therapy disclaimers

Healing Sun Talks Limited uses nature sounds and frequencies that are free within the public domain. Healing Sun Talks Limited claims no copyright or ownership over these sounds and does not sell audio. All responsibility for personal reactions remains with the client.

 

Professional boundaries

Clients may not contact Healing Sun Talks Limited outside agreed communication methods except for cancelling or rearranging sessions. Healing Sun Talks Limited will not provide emotional support outside sessions. Boundary respect is required at all times.

 

technology and client environment

Online sessions require stable internet. Healing Sun Talks Limited is not responsible for device failure, sound failure, camera failure, wifi interruptions, or any technological difficulties on the client’s side. These circumstances are not refundable.

 

Clients are fully responsible for their own privacy, environment, and safety during sessions. Healing Sun Talks Limited has no presence in the client’s home, space, or location.

 

Disclosures

If a client expresses intention to harm themselves, another person, or discloses criminal activity, Healing Sun Talks Limited may be required to act in line with safeguarding and legal obligations.

 

Emotional responses and wellbeing

Sessions may bring emotional release, discomfort, memories, or unexpected reactions. Healing Sun Talks Limited is not responsible for emotional, psychological, physical, or spiritual experiences that arise. Clients enter sessions with full awareness that they are responsible for their own wellbeing at all times.

 

Crisis support

Healing Sun Talks Limited does not offer emergency or crisis support. If you are in danger you must contact emergency services or your local crisis support immediately.

 

Session behaviour

Healing Sun Talks Limited provides a calm and respectful space. Aggressive behaviour, disrespect, threatening energy, or violent tone will not be accepted. Sessions may be ended immediately with no refund if behaviour is unsafe.

 

Therapeutic agreement pack

Counselling clients will receive a therapeutic agreement pack which must be signed before sessions begin. If you cannot digitally sign, a clear email confirming acceptance will serve as your signature.

 

Payments, bookings, and refunds

All payments must be made at the time of booking for sound therapy and reflective sessions.

Counselling payments must be made at least twenty four hours before each session or as specifically arranged with Healing Sun Talks Limited.

 

Sessions are non refundable within twenty four hours of the scheduled time.

 

Sessions cancelled outside twenty four hours remain non refundable, however clients may rearrange the lost session within thirty days subject to availability. After thirty days the session is cancelled with no rearrangement.

 

Missed sound therapy sessions are not refundable or rearrangeable.

 

Cancelling sessions

Counselling clients may cancel through the booking form, the provided contact number, or the provided email. Sound therapy and reflective clients must cancel through the booking form. Any cancellation within twenty four hours is too late and the session becomes non refundable. A new session must be booked and paid for.

 

Concession pricing

Concessions may be offered to clients who are unemployed, on social benefits, or without income. Proof may be requested. Concessions are offered solely at the discretion of Healing Sun Talks Limited.

 

Misrepresentation

If a client provides false information about their identity, age, mental health, or circumstances, Healing Sun Talks Limited is not responsible for outcomes and may terminate the working relationship.

 

Intellectual property

All text, branding, images, session descriptions, written content, and materials found on this website belong to Healing Sun Talks Limited and may not be copied, published, shared, or reused without written permission.

 

Termination of services

Healing Sun Talks Limited may end the therapeutic or wellbeing relationship at any time if the work becomes unsafe, inappropriate, unethical, or if terms are breached.

 

Session changes from Healing Sun Talks Limited

If Healing Sun Talks Limited needs to change a session time or date, reasonable effort will be made to notify the client as early as possible. If an emergency prevents advance notice the session will be rearranged without loss to the client. Healing Sun Talks Limited is not liable for changes caused by circumstances beyond control.

 

Spiritual and reflective disclaimers

Any reflective, spiritual, or sound related content offered by Healing Sun Talks Limited is interpretive and subjective. Clients choose their own meaning and remain responsible for their own interpretations and responses.

 

Governing law and jurisdiction

By booking any service with Healing Sun Talks Limited you agree that this contract is governed entirely by uk law. This includes the principles of the bacp and the training standards of the cpcab. Clients accept this governing law regardless of what country, island, or region they are located in before, during, or after sessions. This does not override the laws of their home country but establishes the uk as the governing legal framework for this agreement.

 

Legally binding contract

By entering any service with Healing Sun Talks Limited you confirm that you understand and agree that this document forms a legally binding contract under uk law. Use of this website and any booking made is taken as full acceptance of all terms.

 

Responsibility for personal wellbeing

Each individual is fully responsible for their wellbeing, choices, environment, emotional state, and presence during all sessions. All sessions are remote, online, and at no point does Healing Sun Talks Limited have physical presence in any client’s home or location.
